RiverHawks Drop No. 20 Tarleton State
SHERMAN, TEXAS – Northeastern State, ranked 16th in the nation defeated 20th-rankedTarleton State 5-4 in Lone Star Conference women’s tennis play Friday afternoon.
The RiverHawks improve to 9-3 for the season and 3-2 in LSC action while the TexAnns fall to 12-7 for the year and 4-3 in league play.
The RiverHawks and TeAnns split singles play with Northeastern State winning No.1 thru No. 3 and winning 2-of-3 doubles at No. 1 and No. 3 to take the match.
Winning at singles for the RiverHawks were Zuzanna Osinska, Emina Spirtovic and Michaela Romanova. Doubles victories were posted by Osinska and Spirtovic at No. 1 and Karolina Cichon and Romanova at No. 3.
