Osinska Named LSC Academic POY

RICHARDSON, Texas ---  Northeastern State's Zuzanna Osinska was selected as the Lone Star Conference Academic Player of the Year it was announced by league officials on Wednesday.

Osinska, a senior from Warsaw, Poland, was also an All-LSC selection in both singles and doubles.  She was joined on the All-LSC squads by teammates Emina Spirtovic and sophomores Michaela Romanova and Karolina Cichon were All-LSC Honorable Mention selections.

Also earning All-Academic honors were Emina Spirtovic and Michaela Romanova.

Osinska finished the regular season with a 20-7 mark at #1 singles and 20-7 record at #1 doubles.  Spirtovic compiled a 19-4 singles mark and 22-6 doubles record.  Romanova led the RiverHawks with a 20-2 at #4 singles and a 13-7 mark in doubles action.

The #14 RiverHawks are set to begin play at the Lone Star Conference Championships at 9:00 a.m. against Midwestern State.
