Celeste St. Gemme, senior midfielder from Owasso, Oklahoma, is the daughter of Keith and Angie St. Gemme. The Hurricane Futbol Club alum graduated from Owasso High School in 2008, and since joining the NSU family has proved a gleaming example of excellence on and off the pitch. The academic stalwart has contributed to an exemplary team G.P.A all while starting and playing in every game of her college career until a recent injury temporarily sidelined her. St. Gemme has scored 6 goals in her career, but is known for her defensive potency. Her ability to win balls out of the air consistently, control possession and distribute, and tackle cleanly and effectively have catapulted the Riverhawks to their current 8-2-1 record. A two-year captain, St. Gemme exemplifies the fighting spirit, inexhaustible talent, and momentous leadership that goes into running a successful athletics program.

Coaches Quote: “Celeste is a driven and motivated young lady that always tries to put team first.  She has lots of honors and has already had a great college career.  However, when I think of Celeste the first trait that comes to mind is selfless.  She organizes the team from a captain stand point and has been a welcoming spirit for new players each year.  On the field she is a great ball winner and tackles really hard.  She has grown from a center back that did a good job to a center mid that is linking pin for our midfield.  Celeste has been a loyal NSU player and I am so thankful that her senior year we are having some success; she has certainly put in the work to deserve it”.

#29 Sadé Boswell (Senior, Right Defender)

Favorite game: Phase10

Favorite color: blue

Best advice to future players: play every game like it's your last

Favorite possession: my car

Best physical attribute: legs

What you do to make a difference for the Riverhawks: hustle

Likes: sports, chocolate, family time

Dislikes: shallowness, being hot, roller coasters

Sadé Boswell hails from St. Robert, Missouri and is a graduate of Waynesville High School. Sadé is the daughter of Darryl and Denise Boswell, and comes to NSU after two years at Neosho County Community College. While at Neosho, Boswell started and played every game, and has continued the streak while wearing Riverhawk green her junior and senior seasons. The senior defender brings an athleticism and hustle to the NSU family that is rarely seen. Her consistency in winning tackles, speed, and clutch clearances off the goal line have been the a lifeline in the Riverhawks defense. In a position that allows for virtually no statistical acclaim, Boswell has been as steady an any coach could ask for, and has been a huge link pin in NSU's success this season.

Coaches Quote “ Sade’s story for NSU is an unlikely one.  She sent me an email and wanted to come for a visit after her two years at NEO were finished.  After, the visit we invited her to come back out for the 2010 season; not totally sure what we might be getting.  The only thing she did that year was start and play about every minute of the season – she was fantastic.  She is a leader by example, fast, and can shut down good attackers.  What a great addition for our program she has been these past two years.”
