Double-OT Draw

TAHLEQUAH, Okla. --- Northeastern State tied Texas Woman's in a Lone Star Conference match here Friday afternoon.

Neither the RiverHawks (4-5-4 and 0-4-2), nor the Pioneers (4-7-2/2-2-2) managed to score a goal in the double-overtime match at RiverHawks Pitch.

In a match that was nearly as close statistically as the final outcome, Northeastern State managed six shots on goal, all of which were saved by the Pioneers, while TWU had five shots on goal with Deb Hill collecting all five for the RiverHawks.

Northeastern State will return to action on Sunday afternoon with a noon match against Texas A&M-Commerce.
