Angelo State Shuts Out RiverHawks

ANGELO , TEXAS - Angelo State's Ashley Brown scored a hat  trick (3 goals) to lead the Rambelles to a 4-0 victory over Northeastern State in a Lone Star Conference women's soccer match Sunday.

The RiverHawks fall to 4-5-1 overall and 1-1-1 in LSC play. Angelo State improves to 7-4 and 1-2.

Brown's goals came at 28:46 of the first half and 50:43 and 61:37 of the second half. Rambelles' Jennifer Bukowkis scored at 32:19 to give Angelo a 2-0 lead at intermission.

The RiverHawks played the final 27:37 of the match a man down when Kristin Harp was issued a red card. Northeastern State was outshot by the Rambelles 22-8 in the match.

Northeastern State returns action Friday visiting Midwestern State in a LSC clash at Wichita Falls, Texas at 4 p.m.
