West Texas Shuts Out RiverHawks
TAHLEQUAH, Okla. - West Texas A&M scored two first-half goals en route to a 3-0 Lone Star Conference women's soccer victory over Northeastern State Friday afternoon at the RiverHawks' pitch.
Northeastern State falls to 5-10 overall and 1-7-1 in the Lone Star Conference. West Texas improves to 12-2-2 and 6-2-1.
West Texas' Melissa Camero opened the Lady Buffaloes scoring in the second minute of play off a pass from Taylor Cromeens. Lindsay McHorse made it 2-0 in the 39th minute. The final West Texas goal came in the 79th minute when Reem Moussa scored off a pass from McHorse.
Northeastern State took only six shots on goal in the 90 minutes of play.
