LSC Soccer Honors Announced

CANYON, Texas -----  Northeastern State's women's soccer team had a lot to be proud of this past weekend as four members received post-season honors that were released by the Lone Star Conference office over the weekend.

Patricia Nardy, a sophomore from Sao Paulo, Brazil, headlined the awards for the RiverHawks as she was a First Team All-Conference selection.  Nardy set a school record for saves in a season with 124 in 2008 and helped NSU to the LSC post-season tournament for the first time since 2003.  She was a Second Team selection in 2007 while being named the LSC Pre-Season Keeper of the Year heading into this season.

Dani Watson and Ashley Badeen garnered LSC Honorable Mention accolades while Ellie Slack collected All-Academic team honors.
