Round One Struggles
AMARILLO. Texas --- Northeastern State struggled during the opening 18 holes of the 2010 NCAA Women's West Super Regional at Tascosa Country Club on Sunday.
The RiverHawks, the No. 9 seed, remains in ninth place after the first round with a lackluster 45-over-par (333). Whitney McAteer carded the lowest round of the day for Northeastern State with her 8-over-par 80.
Tarleton State, at 310, leads the event with 36 holes remaining. Play will continue on Monday and conclude Tuesday.
