McAteer, Kirkpatrick Fare Well in 2nd Round

AMARILLO, Texas --- Northeastern State remains in 9th place after two rounds of the 2010 NCAA Division II Women's West Super Regional at Tascosa Country Club.

Led by a pair of freshmen, the RiverHawks carded a second round score of 326. Kelsey Kirkpatrick shot Northeastern State's lowest round of the day at 4-over-par 76, and teammate Whitney McAteer was 7-over for a 79. Katie Miller, a senior, rebounded after Sunday's opening round of 88 with a score of 80 in Monday's second 18 holes.

Tarleton State continues to lead the event, 12 strokes better than CSU-Monterey Bay. Play will conclude with 18 holes on Tuesday.
