Fraley's Trey Trips Shippensburg
ORLANDO, Fla. - Northeastern State turned up the defensive pressure in the second-half, battling back from a 20-point deficit to defeat Shippensburg University 61-60 when Megan Fraley hit a 3-point shot with 13 seconds remaining to give the RiverHawks the victory at the Disney East Coast Classic Sunday afternoon.

Northeastern State won 2-of-3 games in the Disney Classic to open the season and return home to play Missouri Southern on Nov. 15 (Sunday) at 2 p.m.
"That's got to be the biggest deficit any of my teams have ever come back from especially in the second half," said Northeastern State head coach Randy Gipson.
"The kids just didn't quit. We are really proud of the comeback. Our kids didn't have any quit in them. We weren't having a good day early. But, we kept fighting hard.
"Megan (Fraley) stepped up and hit a big basket. She just drained it," said Gipson.
