RiverHawks Play for LSC North Division Lead
TAHLEQUAH, Okla. - Northeastern State will battle Texas Woman's University Wednesday night at Jack Dobbins Field House for sole possession of first place in the Lone Star Conference North Division. Tip-off is 7 p.m.
The Riverhawks are going after their sixth consecutive win and fifth straight LSC North Division victory. Northeastern State is 15-4 overall and 4-0 in divisional play. Texas Woman's comes into the game with a 10-6 overall record and 4-0 LSC North Division record.

The Pioneers offensively are averaging 74 points and are led in the scoring by Jessica Hanna, 5-9 sophomore guard, who is scoring 14.1 points a game. Megan Hashman, 5-10 senior forward follows in the scoring with a 13.2 average with Jessica Durr, 5-7 senior guard, averaging 10.3 points. Durr is the Pioneers top field goal percentage shooter at 53.4 percent. She is also the Pioneers' leading rebounder at 6.7 boards an outing.
Defensively the Pioneers are allowing the opposition 69.5 points a game.
The RiverHawks led by junior post Jasmine Webb, the LSC North Division Defensive Player of the Week, is giving up just 54.3 points a game, second in the LSC. Webb is also the Riverhawks leading scorer at 10.9 points and is NSU's top rebounder at 5.9 caroms a contest.
In Northeastern State's 90-69 win over East Central last Saturday, Webb scored 17 points in the contest. But it was sophomore Alix Perkins, who led the RiverHawks offensive assault with 20 points, a season best for the LSC Freshman of the Year, last season.
The RiverHawks 90-point production was Northeastern State's largest scoring output this season.
Kendra Dean was also impressive in the ECU win pulling down 17 rebounds, a career and season high, just six short of the all-time Northeastern State record of 23. The sophomore forward also scored 11 points for her first double-double of the season.
Jessica White also had one of her best shooting performance of the season at East Central scoring 14 points to tie her season-high.
Following the Texas Woman's game the RiverHawks will meet rival University of Central Oklahoma kin a 6 p.m. Lone Star Conference North Division clash Saturday at Hamilton Field House.
