Kendra Dean, 5-10, sophomore forward from Fort Gibson, is
the daughter of Mike
& Connie Dean.
Dean, health and physical education major, averaged 6.1 points
and 4.5 rebounds
last season in 28 games, starting three.
While at Fort Gibson High School Dean was a four-time
All-Conference performer,
and a three-time MVP. She was named the Muskogee Phonix Player of
the year her
sophomore season.
She was named to the Oklahoma Girls Basketball Coaches
Association and Oklahoma
Coaches All-State swimming team selection.
She led her Fort Gibson team to a state tournament runners-up
three consecutive
years and reached the junior Olympics national finals in 2007.
