Jessica White, 5-9, senior guard from Tulsa, is the daughter of
Larry & Betsy
White.
White, a health and physical therapy major, is a three year
starter for the
RiverHawks, averaged 6.2 points a game last year pulling down
3.8 rebounds per
game. She was a Lone Star Conference Player of the Week her
sophomore year.
During her Jenks High School career as a freshman she received
special
recognition in the Frontier Conference. Sophomore season she was
honorable
mention third baseman in softball for the Frontier Conference and
was a member
of the Class 6A state championship team.
As a junior was a first team Frontier Conference All-Conference
third baseman.
In basketball White was a second team selection on the Best
of The Best
All-Tournament squad and was a third team All-Frontier Conference
team, while a
member of the state runner-up team.
White's senior senior she was a first team member of the Jenk
Invitational
All-Tournament team, an Oklahoma Girls Basketball Coaches
Association and OCA
All-State selection, along with a second team pick on the Tulsa
World All-Metro
team and Daily Oklahoman All-State team. She also played in the
Oklahoma-Texas
game.
In AAU competition, she played on the 2005 17-under national
championship team
Air Starr in Orlando, Fla., and in 2005 Junior Olympics champion
with the OK
Pride in New Orleans 2004 state champions, '05 runner-up and '06
state
quarterfinalist.
