Truman Prevails
TAHLEQUAH, Okla. --- Bobby Larkin scored the only goal of the match in the 27th minute on Sunday as 11th-ranked Truman State blanked Northeastern State 1-0.
Larkins received a nifty pass from Jonathan Brown near the top of the 18-yard line, made one touch and beat RiverHawks' keeper Jordan Ladbrooke for the only tally in the game.
The RiverHawks fell to 7-10 overall and managed five shots on the day, four of which were on target. Truman, 10-2-2, had 11 shots on goal and Ladbrooke made five saves with the other five saves coming from various members of the defense.
Northeastern State will close out the year with Senior Day on Friday, Nov. 5, by hosting Incarnate Word at 3 p.m.
