Wilson Earns NSCAA All-Region

TAHLEQUAH, Okla. --- Northeastern State's Michael Wilson was named to the 2009 NSCAA Men's NCAA Division II All-South Central Regional team.

Wilson, a defender from Elgin, Scotland, was chosen to the 11-man squad. The South Central Region consists of teams from Oklahoma, Texas and Missouri.

He appeared in all 19 RiverHawks' games with 18 starts. He assisted on one goal this season and had four shots. Wilson was one of two Northeastern State soccer players named to the All-Lone Star Conference First Team this year.
