Lindsay Earns Weekly Honor

RICHARDSON, Texas --- Northeastern State's Brendon Lindsay, a sophomore goalkeeper from Enid, has been selected the Lone Star Conference defensive player of the week.

Lindsay and the RiverHawks opened the season with a pair of victories last week defeating Rogers State 2-1 and Harding University 1-0 in overtime.

Against Rogers State Lindsay had four  saves and another three saves in goal against the Bisons. His only blemish came on a penalty kick in the Rogers State match, before the RiverHawks rallied with a pair of goals late in the match to get the victory.
