Ryan Snyder, 175-pound, sophomore defensemen, from Centennial,
Colo., Is the
son of Greg & Terri Snyder.
A graduate of Grandview High School, where he was coached by
Bruce Brown,
participated in soccer, and wrestling.
During his senior year he was named to the Colorado All-State
soccer team in
Class 5A. His Granview team was the state
runner-up in 5A in 2007 and in 2009
he club soccer team, the Colorado Storm, played in the state finals
and was the
runner-up.
While at Northeastern he has been on the President's honor roll
and has
participated in community service work for the homeless and
community clean-up
work.
His father was two-time state champion and All-American
wrestler in Montana. He
attended Clemson University and was nationally ranked and
holds the school
record for the most take downs, escapes and wins for the Tigers.
