Matt Murrell, 6-4, 190-pound  redshirt goalkeeper from Basehor, Kan., is
the son of Mike & Susan Murrell.

At Basebor-Linwood High School, Murrell was an All-State, All-Region selection
in soccer. He was also the placekicker on the football team. His soccer team won
the league championship and was a state quarterfinalist.

In club soccer as a member of the Solar Soccer Club, he played in the Dallas
Cup, Disney Cup, Surf Cup, state and regionals.

At Northeastern State he has participated in the mentor volunteer  program.
