RiverHawks' Fouts Leads Missouri Southern State Tournament
JOPLIN, MO. --- Northeastern State freshman Kyle Fouts fired an opening round 71 to lead the Missouri Southern State University Spring Invitational Monday at the Twin Hills Country Club in Joplin, Mo.
Fouts’ 71 was one-under par on the 6,842 yard Twin Hills Country Club course. Fouts holds a 1-stroke lead over Missouri Southern’s David Eddy.
Northeastern State is third after the first round with a team total 306, just four strokes behind leader Fort Hays State at 302. Southwest Baptist is second at 305.
The RiverHawks’ Brady Wood of Broken Arrow is in 13th position after firing an opening 76.
