Boswell Fifth at Bakersfield Tournament

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - Northeastern State's Josh Boswell of Wagoner fired rounds of 72-71-74 for a 54-hole total of 217 to finish fifth in the California State-Bakersfield Invitational golf tournament Tuesday at Bakersfield, Calif.

Boswell's 217 was 8-stokes back of medalist Kyle Morrison of Cal-State Bakersfield, who finished with a 209 on rounds of 69, 69 and 71 on the par 72, 7,079 yard Seven Oaks Country Club.

The RiverHawks finished tied for seventh with Cal Poly at 899 shooting rounds of 296, 298 and 305. Cal-State Stanislaus took the team title with an 868 shooting 291, 277 and 300.
