RiverHawks 10th at MSU Invite
WICHITA FALLS, Texas --- Northeastern State rallied on Tuesday with the third lowest round of the day. However, it wasn't nearly enough as the RiverHawks finished in 10th place at the Midwestern State Invitational.
Kyle Fouts and Brady Wood each carded three-over-par 74s to lead Northeastern State to a round of 308. Fouts ended the event tied for 10th place in the medalist race.
Oklahoma City took the team title with a sterling 54-hole total of 859 (287-282-290). Dallas Baptist was runner-up at 882, followed by Central Missouri at 894, Midwestern State at 896 and East Central with its 906.
OCU's Clark Collier edged teammate Michael Palmer for the medalist honor. Each shot three-under-par 210, but Collier won the championship in a playoff.
