Final Round Flaws

SAN ANTONIO , TEXAS - Northeastern State men's golf team fired a final round 308 and finished at 895 to place fourth in the Bruce Williams Memorial  Invitational Tuesday.

Host St. Mary's University won the team title with an 866 after a final round 291. The Rattlers were followed by Dallas Baptist 884, Abilene Christian 887 and the RiverHawks, who had rounds of 301-286-308 in the 17-team field.

Wagoner junior Josh Boswell was the RiverHawks' top performer finishing 16th with a 56-hole total of 221. Boswell had rounds of 72-68 and 81.

Other RiverHawk scores were Kyle Fouts 223 (77-70-76), Jordan Perceful 225 (78-75-72), Brady Wood 229 (74-73-82) and Jacob Bartel 235 (80-76-79).

University of Texas' Donald Constable took medalist honors, with a 7-under par 209, shooting rounds of 68-73-68 on the par 72, 6,973 yard course.

The RiverHawks will resume play on Oct. 5 and 6th at the Grand Canyon Invitational in Phoenix, Ariz., at the Estrella Mountain Ranch Golf Course.
