RiverHawks Tied for 10th at Patriot Invitational

DALLAS, Texas --- Northeastern State shaved 12 strokes off its opening round on Monday to record a 291 on the second 18 holes and the RiverHawks are tied for 10th at the Dallas Baptist Patriot Invitational.

Kyle Fouts had rounds of 77-70=147 and is tied for 24th overall in the event, hosted by the Golf Club of Dallas. Northeastern State had a 303 in the opening round before charging back later in the day with its 291.

Oklahoma City University and DBU lead the event at 18-over-par 578. Cameron is third at 583, followed by Midwestern State (584) and Oklahoma Christian and Abilene Christian with scores of 585.

Colby Ricks had two rounds of 75 and Brady Wood had a 77-73. Each area tied for 46th overall at 150, while Blake Walker's 152 ties him for 62nd and James Peachey's 153 puts him in a tie for 69th in the individual race.

Central Oklahoma's Andrew Green is two-under-par and leads the medalist race after his second round 65.

Play will conclude with 18 holes on Tuesday.
