RiverHawks 14th at DBU Invitational

DALLAS, Texas --- Northeastern State's struggles continued at the Golf Club of Dallas on Tuesday as the RiverHawks slipped to a 14th place finish in the Patriot Invitational.

Blake Walker managed a team-best score of 75 on the final 18 holes as Northeastern State carded a miserable 308 on the windy course.

Oklahoma City and Midwestern State each shot a 54-hole total of 878 to finish as co-champions in the team standings. St. Mary's followed in third at 882, while Abilene Christian (883) took fourth and host Dallas Baptist was fifth at 884.

The medalist championship belonged to DBU's Will Dusenbury at one-over-par 211. Central Oklahoma's Andrew Green, in first place to begin the final round, faltered with a 75 to finish second.

Kyle Fouts recorded Northeastern State's best tournament total at 224, which placed him in a tie for 37th in the individual race. Walker's 227 tied him for for 53rd, while Colby Ricks (T58), Brady Wood (T61) and James Peachey (T71) had scores of 228, 229 and 231, respectively.
