Golf Remains in 5th

THACKERVILLE, Okla. --- Northeastern State failed to gain ground Monday during the second round of the 2010 Men's Lone Star Conference Golf Championships at WinStar Golf Course.

The RiverHawks fired a team score of 1-under-par 287, led by Brady Wood's 69 and Blake Walker's 70, for a 36-hole total of 585. However, Northeastern State is in 5th place overall and trails Midwestern State by 15 strokes heading into Tuesday's final round.

Midwestern State shot a 14-under par 274 during Monday’s second round to take a three-shot lead over the rest of the field.
