Free Throw Contest Slated During Homecoming

The Northeastern State Athletic Association will host a free throw shooting contest on Saturday, Oct 9, as part of Homecoming 2010 activities. The event, which is a fund-raiser for RiverHawks basketball, will be conducted immediately after the Homecoming Parade at approximately 11 a.m. in Dobbins Field House.

Contestants must be at least 18 years of age and the cost is $50 per person. A $1,000 cash prize will be awarded to the winner and the runner-up will receive $500.  All entry fees must be made no later than Friday, Oct. 1. Current collegiate athletes and prospective high school student-athletes may not participate due to amateurism restrictions.
