Jerod Joseph, 6-4, 225-pound sophomore forward from Long Beach, Calif., is the son of
Barbara Williams.

A health and physical education major, Joseph is a transfer from West Hills College in  California, where he led the team in rebounds his freshman year. He was selected to the All-Conference defensive team and was voted the most improved player on the squad.

A graduate of Cabrillo High School, Joseph led the Jaguars in rebounds with 408 and was ranked the top rebounder in the state, averaging 18.0 per game. He averaged 16.0 points a game to lead the Jaquars in scoring and was named All-Conference.
