Dominique Gaines, 6-2, 180-pound junior from Muskogee, is the son of Marvin &
Mae Gaines.

A public relations major, Gaines is a transfer from Northeastern A&M Junior
College where he was an All-Conference performer and junior college
All-American. In two seasons for the Golden Norsemen Gaines played in 61 games,
scored 1,100 points for an 18.0 scoring average.

A graduate of Muskogee High School, he was coached by Tony Roach and was a
three-year starter and  All-Conference and  All-District selection. He also
participated in the Oklahoma-Texas All-Star basketball game.
