Robinson Picks Up Preseason Honor
TAHLEQUAH, Okla. --- Nate Robinson has been selected by Consensus Draft Services (CDSdraft.com) as a Preseason All-American. Robinson was chosen to the 2nd Team Defensive squad by the organization.
Robinson, a defensive back who earned AFCA All-America honors in 2010, will be returning for his senior campaign for the RiverHawks. Last year, he led the team with four interceptions, 14 pass deflections and broke up 10 passes. He also logged 31 tackles over 11 games.
The speedy cornerback is also NSU's return specialist. A year ago he was second on the squad in all-purpose yards. Robinson, from Rockingham, N.C., had 1,025 total yards, 725 of those coming on kick returns and 258 on punt returns.
