Tickets On Sale For Mineral Water Bowl

TAHLEQUAH, Okla. --- Northeastern State has announced information regarding ticket purchases and lodging for the 46th Mineral Water Bowl, Dec. 3, in Excelsior Springs, Mo.

The RiverHawks will face Minnesota State, Mankato, at noon. Game tickets for the event may be purchased from the NSU Department of Intercollegiate Athletics offices for $10 each.

"Individuals throughout RiverHawks Nation have asked me how they can help, and whether you plan to attend the game or not, there are several opportunities to assist in making this bowl game a lifelong memory for NSU players and coaches," said Tony Duckworth, NSU director of athletics.

NSU is obligated to sell a block of tickets for the Mineral Water Bowl. RiverHawks faithful can assist in underwriting this event with the university by purchasing additional game tickets to use at its discretion.  Also, fans may wish to "sponsor" banquet tickets ($25 each), or donate towards the purchase of bowl gifts ($40 item) for members of the football team. All donations of this type may be tax deductible to the full extent of IRS regulations.

The Hampton Inn (816-415-9600) in Liberty, Mo., will serve as host hotel for NSU fans. A special rate of $89 per room will be offered if you ask for the "NSU Football Bowl" rate when making your reservation. Please click this link to access the site online.

  • Friday, Nov. 18 (9:00 a.m. - 12:00 noon & 1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.)
  • Monday, Nov. 21 (9:00 a.m. - 12:00 noon & 1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.)
  • Monday, Nov. 28 (9:00 a.m. - 12:00 noon & 1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.)
  • Tuesday, Nov. 29 (9:00 a.m. - 12:00 noon & 1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.)
  • Wednesday, Nov. 30 (9:00 a.m. - 12:00 noon & 1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.)
  • Thursday, Dec. 1 (9:00 a.m. - 12:00 noon)
