2010 Football Schedule Released

TAHLEQUAH, Okla. --- Northeastern State will open the 2010 football campaign on Sept. 2 in a Lone Star Conference crossover battle against Tarleton State.  The home opener will be Saturday, Sept. 11, against Abilene Christian.

This season, the RiverHawks will play five home games and six on the road. Perhaps highlighting the 2010 campaign is a trip to the University of North Dakota, an NCAA FCS school (formerly I-AA) on Sept. 18.

Fans can take advantage of this first-ever Division I game by travelling with the team to Grand Forks. Now until June 1, the cost is $300, which includes round-trip airfare with the team, ground transportation, double-occupancy hotel accommodations and a ticket to the game at 4 p.m. that Saturday. The charter place will depart Tulsa International Airport on Friday morning, Sept. 17, and return on Saturday, Sept. 18, following the game.
