LSC Honors RiverHawks Kok

Preseason All-American punter Joe Kok, was selected the Lone Star Conference North Division Special Teams Football Player of the Week.

Kok, a senior from Broken Arrow, continued to improve on his average as he punted six times for a 46.8 yard average, including one for 54 yards against 10th-ranked Texas A&M-Kingsville. He pinned the Javelinas inside its own 20-yard line on half of his punts.

The  honoree leads the Lone Star Conference  in punting with a 42.2 yard average and is among the nation’s leaders in this statistical category as well. He has placed eight punts inside the 20-yard line this season and has five punts of 50-yards or more.
