A highly touted recruit out of high school, spent one season at the University of North Texas before landing at Northeastern State. Raymond earned Lone Star Conference 1st Team accolades in 2008 after a stellar season. He was fourth on the team in tackles with 62, 13 tackles for loss and five quarterback sacks.
Raymond was an All-Lone Star Conference North Division 2nd Team selection in 2007, when he collected 50 tackles, eight tackles for loss, two sacks, one fumble recovery and one forced fumble. Raymond will anchor a solid defensive line for the RiverHawks in 2009.
Raymond is a criminal justice major.
