Hansen comes to Northeastern State from Sacramento City College where he helped the Panthers to the 2008 Mid-Empire Conference Championship.  He also was the Big 8 California College Discus Champion in 2008.  Hansen collected eight sacks and 11 tackles for loss in two seasons. 

Hansen, who originally signed with Boise State out of high school, plans to major in psychology and pursue a minor in education.
