McKinney, outfielder, begins his second season at Northeastern State. Last season McKinney hit .332 with 11 home runs, 11 doubles, a triple and had 40 RBIs to earn second team All-Lone Star Conference honors.

He transfer to NSU after  one season at Seminole State College before heading to the University of Arkansas-Ft. Smith, were he hit .364 with eight home runs, 25 RBIs and 16 stolen bases his sophomore season.

At Spiro High School he was an All-State selection and was drafted by the Cleveland Indians organization.

McKinney is a Business Administration major with an emphasis on Management.
