TAHLEQUAH, Okla. – The Northeastern State football team welcomed 138 student-athletes who were scheduled to report for preseason camp Aug. 10.
	
	NSU coach Kenny Evans and staff has a reported 72 returners and 66 newcomers for the beginning of camp.
	The team will conduct physicals and fill out paperwork over the next two days, and the first practice is scheduled for 8:30 a.m. Aug. 12.
	
	The team will be in helmets only for the first two days of practice, followed by two days of helmets and shoulder pads followed by full pads the rest of camp.
	 
	Northeastern State is scheduled to begin the 2013 season with a 7 p.m. kickoff Sept. 7 in Pittsburg, Kan., against Pittsburg State University.
	 
	The first home game will take place at 2:30 p.m. Sept. 14 against Missouri Southern State University in the MIAA Game of the Week.
	 
	The annual "Meet the RiverHawks" event will take place at 7 p.m. Aug. 25 inside the indoor bubble practice facility. The event is open to all members of the public and gives fans a chance to meet and greet with the football staff and student-athletes.
