NSU Debuts New Athletics Web site

New site will have added features such as greater video content.

TAHLEQUAH, Okla. - The Northeastern State Athletics Department is proud to announce it has launched a new Web site, which debuted August 21.

NSU has begun a partnership with SIDEARM Sports to coincide with the transition to the Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association, and with that came a need for an upgraded athletics site.

“We wanted to create a wow factor with this new Web site while enhancing the RiverHawks brand,” NSU Director of Athletics Tony Duckworth said. “Without question we accomplished these goals. Thank you for taking the time to visit the home of RiverHawks Athletics.”

RiverHawk fans will enjoy a sleek new look that rivals any other in college athletics. The Web site will feature easier-to-navigate drop-down menus, with greater content than ever before. This site offers greater video capabilities, and in the near future there will be more in-depth player and coach bios.

At the bottom of the page, fans will notice the official NSU Facebook and Twitter feeds, which can be used to keep up with NSU Athletics and connect with the RiverHawk family.

In an effort to better connect with fans, an "Ask The AD" tab has been added for those who would like to reach out to Duckworth.

There will also be a student-athlete of the week and RiverHawks factlets for fans to enjoy.

"This was the biggest project I was charged with when I was initially hired in July, and I'm so proud to finally see all our hard work pay off," said Cedrique Flemming, Assistant AD for Media Relations. "We as a staff hope to use this Web site as a tool to help our coaches in the recruiting process and help fans become closer than ever before to our amazing student-athletes.”

Please take time to look around at what our new site has to offer. We hope you enjoy it.
