The Northeastern State University Athletic Association is an organization that was formed in 2000, and is committed to maintaining the proud traditions of Redmen and RiverHawks Athletics. The Athletic Association seeks to link all members with one another and connect with the student-athletes, coaches, and administration at the University today.
The goals and purpose of the Northeastern State University Athletic Association are:
Maintain the tradition of NSU Athletics; sponsor special events (annual golf tournament, Hall of Fame Banquet, etc.) that allow friends and teammates the opportunity to rekindle old friendships and build new ones; provide a network of professional and personal contacts for the benefit of NSU Athletic Association members; and provide a direct link between the Athletic Association and the Department of Intercollegiate Athletics at Northeastern State.
The Association officers for the 2012-2013 year are:
Carl Scott, president, George Elliott, president-elect, Jerry Hill, immediate past-president, Hall of Fame Chair, Jim Quetone, secretary, and Ted Vancuren, annual golf classic chair.
